I was forwarded your name by a large Patek collector I met during a flight back to NYC. He said you could help. I have started a modest collection of about 13 limited edition Panerais. Here's my question:
I'm interested to know what you think of the new 276 and 306? More specifically, will these two pieces be looked upon as highly collectible? I love the 47mm sizes and have taken to trying to collect most of them. From what you have seen so far are they being well accepted by the market and do you think they will be looked upon as, pardon the expression, "freak" models or truly collectible pieces? I've already seen a couple on offer on various sites and I'm concerned they are not selling well because it seems as though the prized Panerai models normally never hit US shores because they get snapped up by the Asian or Russian customers if they really are seen as collectible.
