IWC Watches

International Watch Company (IWC) is probably the only renowned Swiss watch company that was started by an American. The company was founded by Florentine Ariosto Jones during the time when only three companies including Howard, Waltham, and Elgin dominated the American market. The International Watch Company was born when Jones took over a failed watch company. Jones was able to bring success to his new company by manufacturing his watches in Switzerland and importing them to the United States.
