The novel was published in 1939 by Gallimaid in Paris, 1939 also reflects the number of UTC models made; 1188 in stainless steel, 500 in rose gold, 250 in white gold and 1 in platinum which is to be auctioned off to benefit the SIPAR organization in Cambodia. The case back pays hommage to the robust Latecoere 25 also known as Late 25 the aircraft Antoine de Saint Exupery flew as part of the airmail pilots.
