You'll love this watch because it is the world's first true timepiece to be released with a carbon fiber bezel and case. It commemorates the Team Alinghi win of the America's Cup 2007 Yatch race. The Team Alinghi chronograph functions are specially calibrated for the America's Cup, which includes a ten-minute countdown display, a minute counter calibrated to 20 minutes and a 6 hour counter. The chronograph also features a flyback function where stop, reset and start functions are controlled by a single pusher at four o'clock.
This watch has the infinitely more rare and desirable Prototype Team Alinghi dial with white outline around the red Alinghi logo. Team Alinghi was not happy with the white outline around the red logo so AP, after producing less than a reported 100 pieces, re-designed the dial to reflect the all-Red Team Alinghi logo without any white outline.
