Bell & Ross BR 126 Original Chronograph - 41mm - aka 'Vintage Original 126' - Stainless Steel w/ Creme Dial - Just Released - Brand New In Box!!!!!

This watch is from the recently released Vintage Pilots Series.  I was completely confused trying to understand the various models within this series as they feature a variety of different complications, dials, straps and hands which lends a unique and different look and feel to each watch.  After reviewing all of the watches within the series, i believe i have it figured out as follows:   

BR 123 = Time & Date Only

 BR 126 = Time, Date & Chronograph

 *BR123 & 126 Vintage Pilots models feature same size 41mm stainless steel case.

There are Original & Officers models in both BR123 and BR126--differences in 2 models are below:

Vintage Original Models - Standard Features

• black leather calfskin strap with deployment buckle
• 41mm brushed/matte finished stainless steel case
• traditional matte black dial/white luminescence painted onto the dial & hands (unless it is the beige/creme dial version with black painted hour/minute markers & hands 

Vintage Officer Models - Standard Features

• black alligator strap (upgraded from leather)  with deployment buckle
• 41mm high polished/shiny stainless steel case. 
• black gloss dial with applied mirrored/shiny finish hour and minute markers 
• hour and minute hands are outlined in stainless steel and feature a unique combination of high polish and luminescent (divided in half) 

 My interpretration is that officers models look more clean & contemporary, Original Models look more historical, basic and tactical looking. 

**It should be noted that there is a $200 difference in retail list price between the Officers models vs. Original Models.  (I would speculate this is justified by the upgrade to the genuine alligator strap & contemporary dial--you be the judge if that $200 premium is worth it ;-)

So there you have it--These are the latest and newest released Bell and Ross Vintage Edition Pilots watches.  They are designed with a retro-WWII-era look and feel--now all you need is your distressed leather bomber jacket, aviators scarf and goggles and you are good to go!!!!!!!
