This watch was made for the Panerai collectors community in only 200 pieces. Each piece carries the name of a specially selected Panerai enthusiast/collector who was lucky enough to be chosen to receive this watch. There have been reports of people who have been able to send this watch to Panerai and have the caseback replaced with one that bears their own name, but these reports have not been substantiated. This watch was sold for as high as $20,000 upon its release in 2005. It is among the most rare collectors PVD watches ever made.
