Panerai PAM 243 L (NEWEST "L" SERIES) 1950 1000m Submersible 44mm Stainless Steel BNIB
The PAM243 1950 1000m Submersible was a newly introduced watch for I series (2006-2007 production year). The PAM243 replaced the now discontinued PAM87 1000m Submersible. What makes this watch so unique and special is that it features a special 1950 uniquely styled case. The 1950 case entails a longer, flatter, and more pronounced brushed crown protector that is fatter and longer than the crown protector on a regular Luminor case. Additionally, the cushion shape of the Luminor case is more accentuated.

The PAM243 1950 case feels like it has a more distributed an even-weighted feel as compared to the PAM87. The PAM243 is incredibly comfortably, sporty and unique looking and the newly styled ridged rubber sport strap (previously only available on the 47mm sport models like the PAM194, PAM187 and Slytech models) is soft and oh so comfortable.
