Panerai PAM 343 M Radiomir 'Regatta' Special Edition Chronograph - 47mm Titanium Case - Only 500 Pieces - 1/8 Seconds & Split Seconds Chronograph!!!

Brand New and Just released, the PAM343 2010 Regatta is now the FIRST 47mm Radiomir Case to feature an automatic movement.  (All other 47mm Radiomirs had manual winding movements, i.e. PAM232, PAM249, PAM309 and PAM322). 

This watch features the same venerable 1/8 seconds/Split Seconds Rattrapante Chrongraph aka 'Foudroyante' Movement as featured in PAM246 45mm Radiomir and Panerai for Ferrari FER 025.  This same movement can now also be found in several of Hublot's Big Bang King Power 47mm models and the 2nd generation Ayrton Senna Special Edition Big Bang.  Let us not forget and pay ample tribute to the the pioneer watch which introduced this movement to the watch world, the Girard Perregaux for Ferrari 'Scuderia Foudroyante' which by now is considered a 'classic timepiece.'

Although Panerai no longer participates in the Laureus Regatta for which this special edition series was originally designed to commemorate,  Panerai still releases an annual special edition Regatta watch.  For the past several years, the event which actually commemorates the Regatta special edition is the classic Yachts Challenge.
